Abstract
|
|
|
A comparative study on the hemagglutination inhibition activities of Phaseolu: vulgaris L. (PVL) and Caragana Chamlagu Lam. (CCL) to human and mouse RBC were ca Tied out to clarify the similarity or relativity between 2 PHAs.
The results could be summarized as follows:
1. PVL reacted on human RBC and CCL reacted on mouse RBC as pan-phytagglutinin, each other.
2. Pan-phytagglutinating activity of PVL on human RBC and that of CCL on mouse RBC were inhibited by certain human sera, each other. The distribution of the former was 64% and the latter was 68%, respectively.
3. The distribution of CCI-M was 73% and that of CCN-M was 27% in PVI. While the distribution of CCI-M was 58% and that of CCN-M was 42% in PVN, respectively.
4. Therefore, there was no relation between the two serum types (PVI and CCI-M).
